A weekend of highs and lows...

On the high is my new plan of becoming debt free, which has consisted of buying a Postman Pat like LDV Pilot van (pictures uploaded soon) which is great.

On the lows are illnesses to friends and family and moving out of my present residence with jumparoundjon :( but its been a great time. Thanks a lot mate :)

Happy New Year!!

Thank you very much for our christmas wishes, I do apologise that ive not been on DA to reply. A very busy time hiding away from christmas!! That and being very ill for several weeks. All over now which is good :)

Hope you and the girls had a lovely holiday. My boy did get nice pressies from St Nick but unfortunetly there walks have been a lot shorter due to me being tired etc etc. I will pay them back in the new year.

As you can gather I'm not a great one for Christmas but know the new year is here well lets go!! Less red wine and more exercise!!

We shull see!

Back to your previous message about NZ I found it the same price as home, England, so to me it was relativly normal but that all depends on exchange rates for you obviously.. It is definetly worth it. Very nice people, although like any place you need to get to know them first.

If you do go you are welcome to stay at my sisters house and, if you like, help out on the farm. Depending on the time of year will depend will depend on what there is to do. I got to help out with calving a bobby. Was great but unfoirtunelty he turned into veale two days later simply because he was a boy!!

Not sure if I have mentioned that my fav place was Kiakoura. Its the most amazing place I will ever go to. It has such an amazing ora (can't spell) around it. Such history and tradition in beautiful surroundings. It is famous for whale watching, which was amazing, and walking along the beach one day I saw a stone which had a calving saying ''Bill Someone died here whilst trying to save a beached whale'' he had been squashed by it!! But you get that feeling there of love for the whales that have brought so much to the town over the years. First meat and now tourisum, but in a nice way!!!

Well as you can see I liked Kiakoura. When do you plan on going?

Hope you had a great Holiday :) x

Oh no! I am very glad to hear that your illness has passed. I know that for some reason I am very succeptable to becoming sick for some reason, so I feel for you, haha.

Yes, my girls got some shampoo (how feminine, right?) And a bunch of new toys and treats. They're a bit spoiled in that sense, but I'm sure that your boys are very happy with what they received as well :)
Was your New Year's fun as well? I guess I should be the one apologizing for not responding in a while!

I'm sure that a trip to NZ would be well worth it - many people warn me and complain that there isn't much more other than the beautiful scenery as far as activities go and ways to spend time...but the thing is frankly that's all I really need! I haven't met too many people who can take my breath away (hopefully that will change...), but nature itself does so on a daily basis.

I didn't know you had a sister, or that she had a house there. I'm sure that I would love to do that - it sounds adventurous, and the rural aspect is very appealing to me (working on a farm has a charm to it that I would love to experience). The only problem is that of course I would be restricted from being too adventurous; by means of my parents, naturally.

Veal is delicious, though, haha. The gender determines, that, hm? Interesting!

I think you're trying to say aura, yes? It sounds simply wonderful, is that - pardon my ignorance- in New Zealand?
Squashed by a whale! Now that's something you don't hear about too often. Yes, I see where you're coming from - time does tend to change people in the oddest way.

I'm not sure when I'll be going abroad. Maybe in college, maybe beforehand. Or after - it all really depends on the costs and the position I am in at the moment. I'll be sure to let you know, though :)

Warmest regards!

Oh my! This is a big apology for lateness in reply.
Every since Christmas has ended I have been on a bit of a mission to burn the candle at each end.
So DA has taken a bit of a back seat but it is lovely to see some new work from you on my return. Nice to see the girls as always...

Yeah New Year was good thanks. Just a quiet doo which passed the evening. The boys did get some new toys eventually but nothing to match the shampoo pressie lol... maybe I should of got something more macho like some toy soilders or a train set! Knowing Edward he would love a train set, constantly running around after it :)

Well I hope that your trip does come off one day.. I'm sure it will. It sounds from what I know of you that NZ is your type of place. Peaceful, friendly and amazing sceanary (gosh I can't spell). I would't agree though with there not being to much to do. I suppose it depends on how much you lend yourself to the local way of life.

Now gonna look through your pictures properaly. Maybe even I will put some new ones up!!

Take Care :)

No problem! I'm patient, really. But it is wonderful to hear from you! Thank you for your kind words, my girls are really growing into quite a pair. Adhara, the younger of the two, is becoming very strong and bossy. Bellatrix is trying very hard to tolerate it all, hah.

That would be adorable! A train set for your boys to chase, exercise and entertainment in one =]

(With me, spelling doesn't count at all haha). Well there being not much to do is only what I've heard, and I try not to follow only what the words are of others. So that's why I want to find out for myself! :]

I love your new submisssions!

Cheers =]
